Research Assistant
Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department, Tulane University

Working on applied machine learning for pediatric cardiac care — building a model to automatically detect Blalock–Taussig-Thomas (BTT) shunt thrombosis, alongside Dr. Daniel Howsmon and PhD candidate Zahra Vaez.

  • Turning messy clinical signals into usable data: cleaning and preprocessing high-frequency arterial blood pressure and oxygen-saturation waveforms in Julia
  • Building heatmap visualizations in Julia that reveal how frequency and amplitude shift over time, helping surface the patterns the model relies on to flag clinical events
  • Turning messy clinical signals into trustworthy data — the foundation everything downstream depends on.

Technology Support Assistant
Innovative Learning Center, Tulane University

Providing hands-on tech support that keeps Tulane faculty, professors, and students up and running day to day.

  • Support faculty and professors with a range of technology needs — troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving 3D printer problems, and getting people back to work quickly
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers — managing print jobs, resolving jams and calibration issues, and helping users bring their designs from file to finished print
  • Assist users with Adobe Creative Cloud programs and other software, helping with setup, connectivity, and everyday troubleshooting
  • Serve as a go-to point of contact for technology questions, connecting with Tulane faculty and staff to understand issues and deliver clear, patient solutions

Web Developer & Website Manager
Tulane Center for Sport | Innovative Learning Center

Keeping the Center for Sport's web presence sharp, current, and easy to use.

  • Manage and continuously update the site — speakers, schedules, and program details — keeping everything accurate and accessible
  • Redesign layouts with responsive formatting and visual polish to make the experience more engaging
  • Partner directly with Center for Sport faculty, professors, and Innovative Learning Center leadership to shape the site around program goals and upcoming events
Feb 2024 — Sep 2025
Contract · Hybrid
Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan
Embedded Systems | IoT Developer
Enactus Kyrgyzstan

Took a real city-wide problem and solved it with hardware — from first prototype to 26 units in the field.

  • Designed and deployed an ESP32-based IoT system that detects barrel fullness and sends Wi-Fi alerts straight to a phone, replacing manual weekly inspections across the city
  • Wrote a scheduled firmware routine using an ultrasonic sensor to trigger alerts at the 10 cm fullness threshold
  • Built, field-tested, and installed 26 battery-powered units across the city, owning the full deployment
  • Engineered for low power — ~2.5 months of runtime per charge on a 1200 mAh battery — enabling on-demand pickups and cutting wasted trips and overflows
